We take you to places bigger tours can't reach, like Gubavac, an island not visited by taxi boats or large groups. On the way, you'll see Vrnik's centuries-old stone quarries and Badija's monastery and free-roaming deer - a mix of history, nature, and quiet coastline in one trip. What you eat and drink along the way is genuinely homemade: Grk wine from our own family production in Lumbarda, and Klašun pastries made from a traditional family recipe. We time this tour to end golden hour on the water - paddling past Vrnik's old stone quarries and Badija's monastery and free-roaming deer, before finishing at Gubavac as the light turns for sunset. It's the same route as our morning tour, but the light and pace make it a completely different experience. Gubavac itself isn't reached by taxi boats or big group tours, so you get it quiet, with homemade Grk wine from our own family production in Lumbarda and traditional Klašun pastries to end the evening. With a max of 10 guests, we adjust the pace to the group - this isn't a fixed script, it's shaped around who's paddling with us that evening.

Our excursion starts at the view point of Korčula, where you can take a couple of photos. The first vinyards we are going to visit are situated in Lumbarda and are famous for Grk, an autochtonous wine sort.. It is not known whether the name derives from the bitter taste or the old Greeks who settled Lumbarda in the fourth and the third century before Christ bringing their own wine sort. You will have the opportunity to taste Grk at a local winery. Then we drive through the interior of the island, passing the villages of Žrnovo and Pupnat, Pupnatska Luka, one of the most beautiful bays on the island. We continue our trip towards Čara and Smokvica, where you will be able to see vineyards. After the tour through the fields you will get the chance to try Pošip and other wines at two most prominent wineries. On our way to Korčula we will drive along the north-west coast of the island passing a couple of fantastic view points which make an additional proof of how beautiful the island is.

Departure from Korcula Town After a stunning 25min drive, and a few viewpoint stops, you will arrive at the village of Smokvica home to the Posip grape variety. Presentation and tasting of 6 wines by the winery. We would then head to an OPG farm, where they produce their own HOney, Gin and Olive oil. You will get a presentation by the owner himself and a tasting of all the amazing products. Head through the vineyards of Lumbarda Greeting by the owner of a small family owned winery, producers of the very rare Grk white wine. Korčula Island is famous for its white wines. This tour is intended for wine lovers looking for an authentic and local experience. Two grapes indigenous to Korčula are Grk and Pošip (Poship). The village of Lumbarda is known for Grk wines, while villages in the island's interior are known for Pošip ones. Both grapes have a lot to offer and the wines are mostly compared to Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. This tour gives you a chance to compare both grapes and make your own opinion. Short scenic drives between Korčula, Lumbarda and Žrnovo will give you a chance to see more of the island, complementing your stay in Korčula Town. On the way back to Korčula, we will stop at a view point above the town. You will almost be able to touch the red roofs of a 1000-year-old town.
