We are a boutique tour company that is locally owned and operated. This is a safe rafting tour which is great for people that want to experience a tropical river without driving too far. The starting point is only a 25 minutes ride from Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The Naranjo River is a fantastic way for the whole family to experience a rafting trip in Costa Rica's Central Pacific region.

An off of the beaten path activity, the exploration of Hacienda Ébano, a Natural Reserve and Ranch. The customer will experience a 1km / 0.6 mile short hike through the rainforest, 2 gorgeous waterfalls with natural pools, also stunning mountains and ocean views. In the trip, the client will have the opportunity to see wildlife such as birds, frogs, and monkeys, also many types of plants, flowers, and trees. The transportation is in a comfortable and safe 4x4 Safari style Truck - the best tool to travel the 10km / 6.2 miles through the big mountains. The perfect end is to refresh us and swim in the Jade Waterfall, also enjoy next to the river, a Costa Rican authentic lunch wrapped in banana leaf. Hello! For this experience to be a private tour require to be minimum 2 people, if is just one person will be added to another group. Once we get to know each other, each person must pay their own ticket which has a cost of $20 which will be paid to Hacienda Baru on the day of the tour. We will begin early in the morning in an exclusive and private place, we will walk through places where there are no many people and we will go looking for local flora and fauna of the place, we will have the opportunity to take photographs of the animals through the HD telescope of any smartphone you have.

Let's explore one of Costa Rica’s best kept waterfall secrets. This tour begins with a very scenic drive along the coastline. Upon arrival, our short hike down to the river begins! As soon as we will enter the canyon you will come to face with a majestic 150-foot waterfall. We will guide you to the many different features Eco Chontales has to offer - multiple calm swimming holes, areas perfect for taking photos, a mini waterslide & even places to jump from! There is a small jump (6 feet), but also a larger one for the thrill-seeker - 9 meter (28 feet +/-)! After we have explored all the features of the waterfall, we will create a mini on the spot-spa and turn into Avatars. We will apply mineral rich naturally colored blue clay on our bodies. This “rainforest clay” we provide is sourced near fresh spring water and is renowned for its healthy skin care properties. To finalize our experience, we will get to enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked Costa Rican meal at the river restaurant.
