This rum distilling experience is a very hands on, bespoke, personal and very knowledgeable workshop like no other in the country. Upon entry to the building you will be warmly greeted by your host upstairs at the main entrance. You shall then be guided to our bespoke micro distillery and once settled you are given a welcome rum and mixer followed by a brief outline of the running of the experience and history of the distillery. Next comes a short history of rums from around the world and a rum tasting section to help you come up with a rum recipe to distill your bottle of rum. Guests then pick a total of 6-10 ingredients from our botanical library to help them create and distill their own rum bottle. While distillation takes place, guests enjoy a rum cocktail. When distillation finishes, guest bottle their rum, add a label with their chosen rum name and finally wax seal their bottle to take away with them.

First we stop to admire the views over the Forth Bridges from South Queensferry before continuing to Linlithgow Palace with its rich and varied history. Then we take the 'Royal Route' to Stirling Castle and explore the ancient royal seat of Scotland. Travelling through glendevon, the sma' Glen, Glen Quaich and The Trossachs all of which have their own unique landscapes. Our first stop of the day is at Doune Castle, a 15th century keep. The castle is full of history and has been used in many TV and film productions including Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Outlander and Game of Thrones. We'll stop for lunch at the picturesque highland village of Kenmore at the eastern end of Loch Tay. Whitewash cottages make way to a sandy beach and loch view. Our last stop of the day is a visit Glenturret whisky distillery where you'll learn how they make the 'water of life' before sampling a few drams.
