Take this interesting tour in the former KGB prison with professional English and Norwegian speaking guide. During the tour you will be able to visit: the former KGB prison, executions chamber, modern exhibitions about resistance movement and deportations and more. Guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour, but you can stay after the tour in the museum to take a look at the pictures and exhibition about deportations, KGB, resistance movement in Lithuania. In the husky village, you will meet husky sled dogs, learn how to communicate and interact with them during a walk, and also enjoy the wild nature of a picturesque forests.

The route runs along famous "dacha" houses of the locals. There you can spot ineresting landscapes, have a sneak peek at locals' gardens and very specific architecture of the houses. Then we head off towards currently decommissioning Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant where a part of "Chernobyl" series have been shooted. Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant is of a very similar construction to Chernobyl's one, but is more powerful - it's a RBMK 1500. The plant is located on Drūkšiai lake which is divided by 2 countries: Belarus and Lithuania. Please note! make sure you have passport or ID card with you (driving licence won't do), you might need it in case of border check. Half-way through the tour we will have a short break and enjoy the industrial surroundings of the place. It's time for you to have some rest and share the impressions over a cup of hot tea. Be ready to hear about the history of the plant, its present-day situation and about the connection to "Chernobyl" series.

The main attraction of the tour is Cold War Museum near Plateliai. Cold War Museum is located in the former Soviet Union`s complex of ballistic missile silo launch. Since 1963 up to 1978, there had been deployed four medium- range ballistic missiles SS-4, armed with 2-megaton power thermonuclear warheads. These missiles, together with the nearby terrestrial platforms of analogue missile launching, had created a common Soviet nuclear armament group in Lithuania, which was able to destroy all the Europe.

Rumsiskes open air museum visit possible all year, but entrance inside every house is possible from May till October.

If licensed guide is requested it can be arranged at an additional cost at the sights that we will be visiting, please inform us in advance if such service is needed so we can book it for you. Please keep in mind or check sites you desire to visit as during the Winter month some sites do not operate every day of the week. Our drivers will advice alternative sites to fill up your day if any of the sites are closed.
